Where you can help
Mentors
Mature believers, especially those with time in recovery, to walk one-on-one with men and women starting over.
Tradespeople
Carpenters, electricians, plumbers and handy hands to get our facility ready, and to teach skills once we open.
Drivers
Licensed drivers with a clean record to help with rides to meetings, appointments and church once the van is on the road.
Prayer team
People who will pray regularly for our leadership, our future residents and the decisions ahead.
Office & grant help
Grant writing, bookkeeping, social media and event planning, much of it from home.
Church partners
Pastors, outreach teams and ministry leaders who want to serve alongside us.
How it works
- Reach out. Email info@nowistheday.org with your name, your town, and how you'd like to help.
- Meet with us. We'll set up a time to talk, in person anywhere in Placer County or by phone.
- Find your fit. We'll match you with a role that suits your gifts and your schedule, starting small if you like.
Let's serve alongside each other
We're not trying to replace what your church is already doing. We want to come alongside it. Here are a few ways churches partner with us:
Invite us in
Let us share the vision with your outreach team, recovery ministry or small group. We'll come to you.
Share resources
Consider us in your missions or benevolence giving, a special offering, or a donation drive for the facility.
Connect people
Send us mentors and volunteers, and when we open, let's refer people to each other's programs.
